REQUEST: UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON – OPIOIDS IN FISHING COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT

The team at the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, with support from the Pacific Northwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center, is developing an e-learning training for commercial fishers focused on substance use awareness, overdose recognition, and life-saving rescue medications like naloxone (NARCAN®).
They are conducting a short (5–10 minute) anonymous and confidential survey, open until March 31, 2026, to hear directly from fishers, community partners, researchers, and others who support fishing communities: tinyurl.com/OOPTsurvey
If you can, please complete it and share it with relevant colleagues through your networks.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Autumn Dennistoun, at autumnd@uw.edu or Christine Ector, at cector@uw.edu.
