We are pleased to announce an expansion of our partnership with MITAGS to offer a broader range of STCW/Coast Guard–approved firefighting courses. While MITAGS has long supported the live-fire practical components of our firefighting courses, increased Coast Guard regulatory oversight has led them to limit all instruction to the use of their own Coast Guard-approved curriculum. We respect this decision and are grateful to continue providing the following courses through our partnership: STCW Basic Firefighting, STCW Basic Training Refresher, and STCW Basic Training Revalidation. Additionally, we can offer STCW Advanced Firefighting, STCW Advanced Firefighting Refresher, and STCW Advanced Firefighting Revalidation, which are new to NPFVOA.
